Job Description

3-Year Fixed Contract     

The CDI has a unique combination of market, product and business development services help business owners to move from the margins into the mainstream. In just the last decade, the CDI has leveraged R200m direct investment into 1 200 SMMEs, stimulated the creation of 4 960 sustainable jobs, and generated additional investment in excess of R420m. With 8 400 members nationwide (representing over 41 000 jobs), and growing, CDI helps enterprises to develop the right product or service for the right market, and helps them get there while putting in place sound business systems.

We looking for a dynamic person with very good overall programme management experience, to hit the ground running. The incumbent could be based in Jhb, but initially, would need to spend about 3 months in CPT first to become orientated with the project team, the project itself and with CDI.  The person will also be managing a Project Coordinator and an Admin Assistant, who are already in their positions.  Whoever takes up this position must also be a really good team player and be able to get other managers to play ball as well, as there is an integration of all of CDI’s other programmes into this JobFund programme.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall implementation of all aspects of the JobsFund12 Alumni Boost Programme
  • Build an integration of knowledge development activities across all projects and programmes
  • Monitor programme implementation and execution to ensure quality standards, market relevancy and future proofing
  • Manage the staffing and resourcing of the Alumni Programme
  • Manage all reporting aspects of activities carried out throughout the programme
  • Manage the overall expenditure and budget of the programme
