Roles and Responsibilities
As a Donor Engagement Specialist, you’ll coordinate and execute donor engagement programmes - from acquisition and retention to loyalty campaigns - ensuring WWF’s supporters remain inspired, informed, and proud to give. You’ll work across teams to deliver compelling donor communications, maintain data integrity, and bring creativity and empathy to every interaction.
You’ll use CRM systems such as HubSpot and Netsuite to design, track, and optimise donor journeys, while producing engaging stewardship content that celebrates impact and fosters long-term connection. Your success will be measured not just in numbers, but in relationships - the trust and loyalty you build with every supporter through your impactful donor engagement campaigns.
Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following skillsets:
- 5–10 years’ experience in fundraising, marketing or donor engagement (INGO or social impact experience preferred).
- Strong hands-on CRM and data-management skills (HubSpot, or similar).
- Excellent writing and storytelling ability - creativity with minimal AI intervention and strong research skills.
- Creative approach to donor campaigns and engagement opportunities.
- Analytical skills to interpret donor data and retention trends.
- Experience in coordinating donor communications across multiple channels.
- Relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
