The Opportunity
Heartlands are looking for a passionate, hands-on fundraising professional who can identify new income streams and build a sustainable fundraising landscape to secure Heartlands’ future, to be a part of their vibrant team and successfully achieve the required fundraising target by the end of the financial year.

You will assist the team in building an environment that empowers both employees and the children they serve, by being dedicated, compassionate, collaborative and an outstanding role model who exemplifies the firm belief that it is every child's birthright to belong.
Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following skillsets:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience, with a proven track record in fundraising and marketing.
- Expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies that will achieve Heartland’s target by the end of the financial year.
- Ability to identify, approach, cultivate and maintain relationships with new and existing donors to build funding sustainability.
- An excellent writer who can craft compelling, high-quality grant proposals that speak to Heartland’s mission.
- The ability to plan, coordinate and execute events and marketing initiatives that raise awareness and spark growth.
- Proficiency in social media and digital marketing best practices.
- A strong understanding of the NPO sector and ethical fundraising standards and regulations.
- Tech-savvy understanding of CRM and donor database platforms.
- Business-savvy with strong financial acumen.
- Valid drivers’ licence is required.
