The Little Lions Fellowship is Back!

Are you passionate about mental health and ready to make a difference in your community but not sure where to start?

littlelionsThe 2025 Little Lions Mental Health Fellowship is for young people aged 18 to 35 who are ready to begin their journey as mental health advocates. Whether you’re new to this space or eager to deepen your impact, this fully funded programme is your launchpad.

We’re selecting 40 youth from Cape Town to take part in a 6-week, in-person training journey in Salt River, where you'll learn directly from psychologists and mental health experts and gain the tools to support children and communities.

 What Fellows Gain:

  • In-person training on mental health by psychologists and certified mental health professionals
  • Workshops on communication, facilitation, and leadership
  • 1:1 mentorship + access to a growing network of Little Lions Fellows
  • The opportunity to host your own sponsored mental health community event
  • Transport stipend, Fellowship Toolkit & a Little Lions T-shirt and certificate.

Where?

All training takes place in Salt River, Cape Town

Who Should Apply?

We’re looking for:

  • Young people aged 18–35
  • Based in or near Cape Town
  • Passionate about mental health and community upliftment
  • Open to learning and eager to grow
  • No experience needed-  just heart, commitment, and eagerness to learn and make an impact!
